This message is a heartfelt call to all, especially those who are my brothers and sisters in Christ. While my words often resonate more deeply with those who share my faith, I hope that anyone who reads this will recognize and embrace the truth in what I am about to share. This is a plea to everyone who possesses a moral compass—those who can discern right from wrong and see beyond the shadows of confusion. I urge you to seek the light that guides us in these challenging times, illuminating our path and helping us navigate through the darkness that can often cloud our judgment and our hearts. Let us come together in understanding and compassion, striving to uplift one another as we pursue what is righteous and just.
We are living in a very important and divided time, in which we are called to look at things in a way that may not be comfortable for what we are used to. However, this is where we are, and we must look at things morally, because without that lens of clarity, we will be pulled into the mess and confusion that is going on today.
We cannot call ourselves moral agents and accept what is going on to be right. This completely opposes what morality looks like, and to subvert it and say that the act against law and order officers like ICE is not lawful is evil. Let me explain, even better, let me show you.
To uphold the principles of law and order, one must recognize that the actions of ICE agents, particularly in the context of removing individuals who are in the country illegally, are not only lawful but essential. These agents are tasked with enforcing immigration laws established by the government to maintain the integrity of the legal immigration system. When individuals choose to reside in the country without the appropriate legal status, they are engaging in unlawful behavior. Consequently, it is imperative that they face necessary consequences, which may include arrest and deportation. By ensuring that these laws are enforced, we protect the rule of law and reinforce the importance of legal compliance for everyone.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
I believe that anyone who possesses a reasonable understanding of moral principles—what is right and what is wrong—should not see the world in any other manner. This understanding is often so inherent that even a child, through their natural instincts and observations, can grasp the basic concepts of right and wrong. Children demonstrate this awareness in their interactions with others, showing compassion, fairness, and a sense of justice from a young age. Thus, it seems evident that the capacity to discern ethical behavior is a fundamental aspect of human nature.
Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
I started with this verse because I believe it highlights one of the key reasons some people call themselves Christians yet think they can continue living exactly as they always have. Many assume that a simple profession of faith or church attendance is enough, without any real change in attitude, behavior, or priorities.
However, this verse calls us to something deeper. It challenges us to actively look around, to carefully examine the world we’re engaging with, the influences we’re allowing into our lives, and the choices we’re making day by day. If we are not intentionally observing our surroundings and honestly evaluating how they shape our thoughts, desires, and actions, then we are not making a true assessment of the condition of our hearts.
This verse also calls us into a deep state of reflection, inviting each individual—whether you are a Christian or not—to carefully examine your life and the influences around you. It makes clear that the people we surround ourselves with shape our character, our choices, and ultimately the direction our lives will follow. In other words, this verse teaches that our inner life and outward path are closely tied to the company we keep. Genuine faith is not passive. It involves ongoing self-examination before God—asking whether our lives are being transformed by His truth or simply drifting along with old habits and worldly patterns. Without that kind of honest reflection, we risk deceiving ourselves into thinking we are walking with Christ when, in reality, we may be clinging to the same life we had before knowing Him.
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
Here is where we need to make a serious decision about whom we are going to serve: man or God. This is not a light or casual choice; it is a defining moment that reveals where our loyalty, trust, and devotion truly lie. I encourage all of you to read the entire chapter, because God clearly lays out not only what you should do, but even more importantly, how you should think, feel, and act as His followers.
Matthew 6, in my eyes, lays the foundation for what a true Christian should look like in daily life. In this chapter, God shows us what our priorities should be—seeking His kingdom first, trusting Him for our needs, and living with sincerity rather than for human approval. He tells us what we should not do, such as practicing our righteousness just to be seen by others, worrying obsessively about material things, or storing up treasures on earth instead of in heaven. He also warns us about the kind of people we should never imitate—hypocrites who only appear spiritual on the outside, and those who love praise from people more than approval from God.
Ultimately, Matthew 6 challenges us to examine our hearts and decide whom we truly serve. It calls us to live with an undivided heart, fully committed to God, reflecting His character in our actions, our attitudes, and our everyday choices.
You might be curious about the relevance of this topic to ICE, especially for those who might be unfamiliar with the acronym. ICE stands for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which is a federal agency under the Department of Homeland Security in the United States. Its primary responsibilities include enforcing immigration laws, investigating customs violations, and combating transnational crime. Understanding ICE's role is essential for grasping the context and implications of the discussion at hand.
Well, let me share some clips with you. Please, it is important that you watch these clips, as they will help you see what's going on.
The initial video addresses the nature of the protests, emphasizing that they are portrayed as peaceful. None of these videos was peaceful; actually, the last one was about a pregnant woman, wait till you hear what a nurse wants to happen to her while delivering her baby. However, in sanctuary cities, there is a troubling trend of letting crimes occur without consequences. The very existence of these protests raises serious concerns about legality. By obstructing law enforcement agents in their efforts to apprehend individuals suspected of criminal activities, the protesters are engaging in actions that could be considered unlawful. This interference not only disrupts the enforcement of the law but also undermines the safety and security of the community as a whole. Ultimately, the act of protesting against law enforcement efforts may itself constitute a violation of the law, highlighting the complex dynamics at play in these situations.
I want to draw attention to the deliberate tactics being employed to create disruption and confusion, which ultimately undermine the efforts of ICE agents in carrying out their duties. Notably, in several municipalities, mayors have enacted policies that restrict the local police department from aiding in the apprehension of individuals or providing necessary support during protests. This lack of cooperation not only hinders law enforcement’s ability to maintain order but also complicates the situation for ICE agents who are trying to fulfill their roles effectively. As a result, these actions contribute to a broader environment of chaos, making it increasingly difficult to manage public safety and enforce the law.
The content presented in these clips bears no resemblance to the teachings or values of Christ. In fact, it exudes pure malevolence, which can only be attributed to the influence of evil. It is evident that the individuals featured have strayed far from their moral compass and have lost the ability to think critically and discern right from wrong. When people choose to rebel against the principles that God has set forth for humanity, they are, in effect, turning their backs on God Himself, which is a serious spiritual misstep. This deviation from divine guidance leads not only to confusion but also to a profound disconnection from the truth.
· 1 John 3:10: "By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother."
· Matthew 12:30: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters."
· John 8:44: Jesus, speaking to those rejecting God’s will, says: "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires."
· Ephesians 2:1-2: This describes life before following Christ as being "dead in trespasses and sins," following "the prince of the power of the air" (Satan).
· Romans 6:16: "Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?"
These verses provide insight into the true allegiance of these individuals, highlighting that they serve their father, the devil, rather than God. This is evident as the devil has successfully blinded the minds of those who do not believe. This spiritual blindness prevents them from seeing the truth and understanding the light of the Gospel, leading them away from faith and into deception. Thus, their actions and choices reflect their loyalty to a darker influence rather than to divine guidance.
In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
I will conclude our discussion for now; however, we will revisit this topic in the future, as there is an abundance of insights and details that deserve further exploration.
As always, God bless all who pass through my site. I hope it pleases you and brings you to a closer walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Peace & Shalom
